Gracie Jewel Designs – in a way – started in 1986 when Pinkie Swindle decided to start offering unique, custom made college rings to women attending Tarleton State University. At the time, Pinkie had been the owner and operator of his family’s business for nearly two decades. That business is called Swindle’s Jewelry and is located today in Stephenville, Texas. For the last 31 years Pinkie – and later along with his grandson Brit Van Zandt – has been crafting unique styles for ladies looking for an elegant piece of jewelry to wear as their class ring.
In July of 2015, Brit Van Zandt bought the family business – Swindle’s Jewelry – from his grandfather and began making plans to grow the coin ring side of the business to include universities all over the country, thus creating Gracie Jewel Designs.
Today, Gracie Jewel Designs is a family owned and operated company that prides itself on building quality, hand-made, rings that women and men alike can enjoy and be proud of for years to come. Our greatest joy comes when our customers walk in wearing our coin rings and enthusiastically says “I’ve worn this ring every day for the last 20 years. It’s showing a little age. Can you polish it and clean it for me?” The many scuffs and scratches only evidence of a beautiful ring worn with pride for two decades, and her request for cleaning only evidence of her desire to continue wearing the ring.
We guarantee that before your business with us is over, you will have a ring that you will love and wear for many, many years to come.
